Nemacolin Castle is the focal point of the Brownsville community, containing artifacts dating back to at least 1787. Built in the mid 1800s, the castle was once the home to the prominent Bowman family. Guided tours of the building are offered on weekends from mid-March to mid-October, 11am to 5pm.
