Fort Necessity National Battlefield encompasses 900 acres of lands and three historic sites, including a reconstructed Fort Necessity, the Braddock Grave and Jumonville Glen. In 1754, a battle between the French and the English, led by George Washington, took place in the area where the park sits today. Inside the park, people have ample educational and recreational activities to occupy them during their visit.
