Twin Lakes Park boast two lakes which are stocked throughout the year with game fish and welcome ice fishing in the winter. Live bait sold year-round from the Boathouse, which also rents out paddle boats, rowboats and canoes in the summer and skis in the winter. Trails wind there way through the park and numerous pavilions are on hand for group events and picnics
Mammoth Park is set around a 24-acre lake which is stocked with trout during the year. Known for its 96-foot (30 m) high slide, kids of all ages come to the park for a ride. Also on-site are a range of recreational fields and sports areas, a scenic overlook deck and more than a dozen pavilions.
Cedar Creek Park features picnic areas, walking trails and access to the Youghiogheny River, among other facilities. In the summer a concession and rental station is on hand, open from April to October. There are 19 pavilions scattered throughout the 464-acre park, as well as ball fields, playgrounds, horseshoe pits and sledding areas for the winter.
