The Compass Inn was built in 1799 as a stagecoach stop. Today it is decorated in period furnishings to show visitors what hotels were like in the 1800s. While at the museum, guests can your three other reconstructed buildings-a barn, a blacksmith shop and a cook house- which are found on the property.
