Fort Ligonier was erected in 1758 during the French and Indian War. Much of the site was reconstructed beginning in 1960 to teach people about this conflict. The grounds contain a museum filled with various artifacts and dioramas, a reconstructed fort and a number of buildings that reflect the time period. Throughout the year numerous living history events are held at the park, including the annual Fort Ligonier Days in October. Address: 216 South Market St. Ligonier PA USA 15658
