Muddy Creek Oilfield

Muddy Creek Oilfield is located in the southern portion of the Moraine State Park. Oil was discovered at this location in 1890 and continue producing for more than 70 years until the establishment of the Moraine State Park. After a complete restoration of the No. 19 Pump, the site now welcomes visitors on various weekend from May to October, or by appointment.
