    Carnegie Library of Homestead

    Located in Munhall, the Carnegie Library of Homestead has been serving the community since 1898. More than a library, this building encompasses a 1,022 seat music hall and an athletic club with a swimming pool, gymnasium, basketball court and fitness center. Both of these centers were established in 1898 as well and can be rented out for special occasions.

    Armstrong County Courthouse and Jail
    Located in Kittaning, the Armstrong County Courthouse and Jail is a historic landmark that dates back to the 1870s. Inside are 24 cells, each measuring 8 ft (2.5 m) wide by 13 ft (4 m) high. Tours are available of this jail, which continues to be used today.

    Flatiron Building

    Built around 1830 in Brownsville, the Flatrion Building remains to be the oldest structure on the town's historic Market Street. Once a commercial structure, the building now contains historic artifacts, an art gallery and a gift shop.

    Cathedral of Learning

    Towering about the University of Pittsburgh's main campus, the Cathedral of Learning is the school's focal point, as well as one of the tallest educational buildings in the world. Reaching 535 ft (163 m) above the ground, the building holds a range of classrooms, theaters, labs and offices, including 26 Nationality Rooms. Construction began in 1937 and was mostly paid for by fundraising and donations.

    Frank Lloyd Wright's Kentucky Knob

    Designed in the last decade of Frank Lloyd Wright's career and completed in 1956, Kentucky Knob is a deluxe Usonion structure in the Laurel Highlands, just seven miles (11 km) away from Lloyd's home of Fallingwater. The on-site visitor center is home to a cafe and gift shop as well as offering tours of the estate. Visitors can also check out the sculpture meadow below the house, full of 35 unique sculptures.
