The Pennsylvania Trolley Museum takes people through the history of trolleys and trains with a series of displays, tours of historical buildings and trolley tours. More than 45 of these machines can be viewed in the Washington, PA, based museum, which is open daily Memorial Day (late May) to Labor Day (early September) from 10am to 4pm, and from April to December on weekends from 11am to 5pm.
Duncan-Miller National Glass Museum takes visitors through the history of glass manufacturing, a prevalent industry in the Washington-area from the late-1800s to mid-1950s. Located one block from the Duncan-Miller Glass factory, the museum boasts a range of glass displays, many made in the region. It is open for April 1 to October 31, Thursday through Sunday from 11am to 4pm.
