George Westinghouse was the inventor of the air brake, a device that changed the way people traveled. Throughout his career, Westinghouse received 361 patents for his inventions and founded 60 companies, including the Westinghouse Electric Company. The museum is located in some of the offices that once held the Westinghouse Air Brake Company. It is open Monday through Friday from 10am to 4pm and Saturday from 11am to 3pm.
